The HelpAmerica Foundation
The HelpAmerica
Foundation
AtHome America Co-Founders Lisa Brandau and Becky Wright always knew they wanted to select
a charitable endeavor for which they could share their successes. And, the choice was
natural.
Changing Lives
From special projects to visiting veterans' homes to participating in national
veteran's events, such as Stand Down, AtHome America has tirelessly worked to support U.S.
veterans, especially those who are homeless.
In 2001, ever mindful of the company's mission to place God
first, followed by family and then business, Lisa and Becky felt it was important to
establish a foundation which could extend the good work currently being done for homeless
veterans to ALL the U.S. homeless, including women and children.
And, it was with this commitment and the spirit of patriotism
that The HelpAmerica
Foundation was founded.
Hope 4 Mike!
On March 14, 2003, Mike Wright, husband and high school sweetheart of Becky
Wright, was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's
disease.
Shortly after Mike was diagnosed, friends, family and the AtHome
America Family wanted to do something to help, and so Hope 4 Mike was founded! Hope 4 Mike
works to raise funds and awareness for those people living with ALS.
Make a Difference!
It's easy! Simply donate $5 or more to either cause. When you support homeless
veterans, you'll receive the proud Words of Truth, USA. Give to find a cure for ALS, and
receive the powerful Words of Truth, Hope. All net proceeds from your donation go toward
the respective cause.
