AtHome America has proudly participated in ABC's Extreme Makeover since 2006. We have donated more than $145,000 in HomeWares to more than 35 worthy families in need across America.

AtHome Gives $10,000 to Oprah Show Family
In March 2009, AtHome America joined forces with Oprah Winfrey by donating $10,000 to the Harrell family from Bedford, Indiana. They lost everything in a house fire this past January.
The donation is part of an Oprah Winfrey Show challenge, an extension of Oprah's Big Give television show, to raise as much money for the family as possible in just one week. AtHome America made the second largest corporate donation! This donation supports our Mission to change America one heart, one home and one family at a time. Read full article.
National Coalition for Homeless Veterans (NCHV)
AtHome America received the National Coalition's Corporate Partnership Award at the Coalition's annual awards banquet in June 2007. The award is presented to corporations who have contributed to NCHV in support of their efforts to strengthen and expand services to America's homeless veterans.
AtHome Co-founder Lisa Brandau accepted the award on behalf of our corporate giving program, HelpAmerica Foundation. AtHome has raised more than $1 million for homeless American veterans, helping them to improve their quality of life. She was also personally honored with the Meritorious Service Award. |

Council on Homelessness
AtHome Co-founder Lisa Brandau was honored to be the only private sector-panelist invited to participate in the Region V Interagency Council on Homelessness meeting in February 2008. The focus of the meeting was to increase attention on the plight of homeless veterans. Lisa shared how AtHome America supports veterans through our Help America Foundation that raises funds for distribution to veteran's organizations |
