We recently moved and I had no shelves to put all my shoes, like I did in my previous house. Since I didn't want my shoes on the floor, I decided to try this shoe rack. Wow! I wasn't sure if it would work, but it is great! Just a note: the rack with the shoes on it will stick out about 5-6" from the door, so just be sure you have the space behind the door to account for this.

only my heels would stay in place the other shoes would just slide down and off the rack . I only have a few heals so it made no sense to keep it if none of my shoes could stay on it .

I have this mounted to the inside of my closet door. It requires more clearance than our narrow door allows, so we ended up cutting 2" from each of the rods to give it enough room for the door to close. It is very heavy when filled so make sure you have a sturdy door.

I bought this to put on the door of mine and my boyfriends closet and his shoes are perfect for it. I wear a women's 6 and the way the rack fits makes it so my shoes fall right through because they're too small. I think if you're any smaller than a size 9 then you should probably look for something else.
