Perfect in my family room
I bought the Crosby St. Black Boucle Lamp Shades, 12x14x10, to go with these lamps. The combination is perfect for my living area.

I love this lamp base.
Although still neutral, the dark brown, blackish color is very warm and just what my room needed for a pop.

I LOVE these lamps for our living room. The contrast between the textured "wood" bottom and the smooth "bronze" top is gorgeous. We paired these with a 10x11 round, textured beige shade and they turned out lovely.
Caution: The texture on the bottom is different on each lamp. I'm picky about this, so I went through what they had in the store until I found two lamps with a consistent texture. Same for the top. The smooth bronze was damaged/dented/scratched on some of the ones on the shelf, so I personally wouldn't chance buying this online.

I purchased two of these lamps and everything else you need with it (the shade, the harp, the finial, etc x 2) just to take them home and one of them started flickering... then eventually never turned back on. Now have to start over.
