Beautiful but some are good, others aren't.

In 2022 I was given one of these. It broke within two weeks. I replaced it with the last one on the shelf, and it is still working in 2024. I bought one more in 2022 and it broke in 2023. I have now bought three more and expect them to last one season. They are beautiful - no question - and glow so nicely in the landscape at night. But you have to weigh the price with how long they last. An added expense is the shepherd's crook to hang them on if you want to place them in a garden. Also, I notice the new ones I just bought are a much deeper blue than the 2022 one because it's faded in the sun. But old and new glow the same at night so obviously the fading hasn't made much of a difference.

I love the look of this lantern on our deck coffee table and the colors are perfect. I can't give it 5 stars however because it is supposed to be solar but, with no instructions, we can't figure out how to make it light up at night! So it looks good, I just wish it worked right.
