This was so cute and more affordable than another one I had my eye on. It is not an actual \"hour glass\" as the sand runs through in 15 minutes. So it is a quarter hour glass. I really hoped it was an hour as I was wanting to use it as a kind of task timer to make sure I write for at least an hour. Still cute though.

I thought the hourglass was bigger but loved it. I have been trying to purchase this since August of this year. I bought four of them one looks like it has damage on the inside of it and discoloration to the silver part but still love the product and will exchange that one.
