I was worried that too much salt / pepper would be dispensed but it's actually the perfect amount. My only complaint is that the refill hole is too small for a regular kitchen funnel. I just rolled up some paper for an easy fix.

I love these shakers! First of all, they have handles and when you are older and your grip isn't what it was when you were younger, it helps with not dropping them. Some reviews said that the holes were too big, personally I like the bigger holes. I cook a lot and I don't want to spend all day trying to get salt or pepper into a recipe. I have two sets of these shakers and I'm very happy that At Home has shaker sets with handles and in white. I'm very satisfied!!

I'm on my second set. Love the handles but do not drop these they shatter. They dump out fast so shake slowly or it over power the food. Has a nice side hole on bottom for adding more spices to the container.
