I needed a stainless steel pan that could be used for a recipe to go into an oven. This one fills that requirement! It is very light can take heat up to 500 degrees in my oven. And by the way, the recipe turned out very delicious!
I decided to try a stainless steel pan instead of teflon. Had little raised bumps to prevent sticking (big mistake as seemed to work the opposite). I could not put enough greece on this pan to stop sticking. Eggs stick and thick layers of spray on coconut oil, pam spray. I actually think the little raised (no stick parts) made it worse. Fish fry w/coating meant all the coating was on the pan. THE MAIN ISSUE WAS NO MATTER HOW MUCH GREECE, NON STICK SPRAY OR THE TYPE IT STICKS TERRIBLY. On a minor plus it could always be soaked cleaned and made back to shiny original and the base transferred heat well. BUT the raised surface spots to prevent sticking- made somethings seem to stick worse and needed greece thick enough to cover all and even then often issue. Now I will donate the pan. Looks good but so bad!
