I'm not sure that I would buy this product again.
These salt and pepper shakers are heavy and beautiful BUT since they are marble they are lined with plastic and when the manufacturer made holes in the plastic so the salt/pepper can shake out little pieces of plastic were left hanging down into the shakers (still attached) and very little salt/pepper can shake out. I tried removing the hanging pieces of plastic but could not. I'm going to try using a very tiny drill bit to make the holes a little larger.
