If one bulb comes slightly loose or goes bad , half the string will quit working and since these are LED ( light emitting diodes) each bulb has to be pulled out and checked. You'd be better off buying white Christmas lights. We bought six sets and they all went out within 6 months of use. Total trash. Replaced 23 led bulbs to get these working again.
