Not for iron buildup
Mr Clean magic erase with built in cleaner. Unfortunately this did not pass my bathroom test. I used 3 pads, very little of the iron buildup came off. It did clean spots were iron buildup was not as bad

Finally, cleaning made easier.
I have been using these Magic Eraser sponges for years. They have been one of the most useful tools I use for cleaning walls, baseboards, all appliances such as refrigerators, stoves and even some "stainless steel" items. I make sure I always have them in stock. Knowing this, I thought to try and use them on the horribly dirty marble design beige tile floors of a house we rented. First, I had tried various special products to no avail. I even called special floor cleaners that wanted to charge hundreds of dollars to clean the floors. I thought why not try the MAGIC ERASERS and was I so happy to see the dirt coming off the tiles! I used the sponges used for removing scum etc.for bathrooms. Even though people might complain about the original sponge durability, the cleaning power and ease of dirt and grim removal, for me, outweighs anything else. Plus, there are thicker ones on the market now. I have introduced this product to family and friends and they have thanked me very much!
My husband improvised and put two sponges held down with rubberbands to a scrubber brush broom and went to town scrubbing the floors with the satisfaction of finally having clean floors. Attached are two photos of the tile cleaning. MAGIC ERASER FOREVER!!!!!

I love it but the way it falls apart so quickly that's the only part I don't like about it if it didn't fall apart I would buy it again but I don't think I will but otherwise it works

This thing IS Magic!
As promised to my family, I've taken time to praise the fact that this sponge is amazing!! As a grieving sibling, desperately trying to prepare our childhood home for its sale, this is a Life/Time saver. When your sister states, "who the heck would have thought to use the sponge on that!" I implore anyone to even try it on your carpet. You'll thank me, and the company!

Love the product. Hate the commercial. Seriously? Just add a water? Who really says that? The actress on this commercial is SO ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!!! I always pause it or change the channel. And you can’t use it for everything. Please change your commercial!!!!!!!! Giving 3 out of 5 for this reason

Life Saver
This is incredible. I carry it to work with me. I clean on the oil and gas field. The amount of grease and grime is incredible. Walls ,door handles and the showers look horrible and so filthy. This eraser is a life saver!! Just 2 days ago a bottle of paint that was on my dryer, got knocked into my dryer with a load of clothes. I opened the dryer when it stopped and I was mortified. My washer and clothes were covered in paint. I grabbed the magic eraser ,hot soapy water and a prayer.. IT WORKED. It took all the paint off. So I'm now in telling everyone lol. I'm like a walking commercial for you!!

The pads fall apart.
This works well but in terms of durability falls short. The pads pretty much shatter and self destruct. Four pads to clean my kitchen cabinets?
