It's PERFECT for holding larger/heavier glass spice containers. It expands to twice the size with no weakness on the inside ledge. I don't know the weight limit but i currently have about 20 lbs sitting safely on this shelf. I will need to buy more in a hurry before everyone else finds out how fantastic they are!!
