Plastic Lid Tab breaks too easily!!!!!
I really wanted to enjoy my blender. But less than 3 weeks after purchase, one of the plastic lids right on schedule broke off. Making matters WORSE, I have spent the last few weeks trying to find a replacement lid that will fit (since it seems that Back and Decker doesn't make these lids anymore). I have exhausted all viable options and now a $40 purchase has been rendered UNUSABLE all because of one plastic lid tab

Am SO disappointed
This is by far the worst Black & Decker product I’ve ever owned. I’ve always favored this brand for small appliances, until now. I’ve had this for about 6 months and it’s currently in the trash. Every time I’ve used it to make smoothies (with frozen SLICED bananas, not actual ice cubes) it’s smelled like it was burning. Today not only did it smell, it actually started sizzling and smoking! This blender actually has smoothie & icy drinks buttons so it’s supposed to be able to make them! It’s probably going to be my last Black & Decker purchase.

Loudest Quiet Blender Ever
All in all worked well for a while, but eventually crapped out after about a year of moderate use. I remember when I bought it I was surprised at how loud it actually was. The thing only makes a high pitched noise now and doesnt blend worth squat.

I have this blender for 6 months and suddenly the blade doesn’t spin have been looking for the blade replacement everywhere but unable to find it anywhere.

Best blender ever!
Our first blender experience was in 2006 when we were gifted a (won’t say the brand). Loved it for years! Bought a new one for $$$$$ a few years ago and it was incredibly loud! Continued to annoy us for years. Also, the plastic container got really stained even thought we washed it every time. So, we decided to look for a blender with a glass jar and one that was quiet!! We saw the Black and Decker Quiet Blender at a large store and knew we could return it if need be. We love it! There are just 2 of us and we use it almost exclusively for smoothies and blending soups. If you want a large container, this may not be the one for you. For us, it’s perfect! It is quiet, love the glass container that looks clean every time and like the options for settings. There is a setting for smoothies that pulses to help break up the frozen ice or berries and then once broken up, blends the smoothie and stops. You can blend more if you like. They also give you instructions on how to load the jar to get the best blend. Sometimes I make a smoothie just for me and I LOVE the individual single serve container that I can drink right out of. The only future test will be if it holds up and hopefully it will. So far, highly recommend this product!
