Bases great. Shades show a little too much light filtering through.

Expensive look to this lamp. When the light is on, it does show through the shade some. Which leaves the color of the shade looking See through. I kept the two lamps, but much prefer the lamps turned off for the darker navy to stay a deeper color of navy!!
