I had an OXO peeler for years and it was my favorite, so when it finally broke I knew I wanted to get the same thing. This works great, it's incredibly sharp - almost too sharp as my husband's first use he literally shaved a chunk of his flesh off carelessly peeling some fruit. I wouldn't blame the product - I've used it since then (sanitized of course) and it works great for me! Recommend!
