Not Good for My Purposes
I had great hopes for this item. I did not intend to use it on a lamp, but rather for the top of a small wooden Christmas gift I make called a Kissmas tree. For this purpose, it requires tightening probably beyond what would be required on a lamp. Unfortunately, when I attempted to tighten, the glass separated from the metal. I tried crazy glue on it, but with no success. I wish it would have worked, but I assume it is fine when used for what it is intended.
