Plastic part broke upon installation.
I don't believe I was at all rough with the rod, but the plastic part at the end of the interior of the rod broke when I tried to adjust the rod to the proper size. I made the rod 1/2" wider than the opening as directed and when I tried to compress it to allow the tension to hold the curtain up, it broke. Maybe just this one was a lemon. I'm not sure I'll try a second one. Unsure if I could return it broken.
