Toppled within a day
I was really excited about this shoe rack once I put it together. The materials are a very light weight and I thought it might be flimsy, but it seemed actually pretty sturdy once it was up. That was before I actually put shoes on it, though. Within 24 hours of filling it, the whole thing begin to lean and then came toppling down in an astonishing crash. It gave out from below with the bottom legs bending and then popping apart. I had less than 50 pairs of shoes on it at the time, too, so wasn't that it was overloaded. Fortunately there were no kids or pets buried in the rubble.
