I was so happy with this rug when I bought it in December, I purchased another one in May. The first one is in a very high traffic area and even with tons of foot traffic, half the time with shoes, half not, it's held up amazingly well. I was worried about the quality being that it's such good deal, but I can't complain at all. Even with the lighter color, it never looks worn at all. I was expecting to replace the first one every year, but I may be able to push that out a bit long. Putting the 2nd runner at the front door so everything matches. I know it'll get dirty faster but the first one held up to steaming so I'm comfortable with it. I'd definitely recommend. Note: the rug needs an anchor to stay in place. The carpet pads (nonslip) did not work for these, as there's too much movement. We went with the tape and used four strips, lengthwise, end to end. That has worked great!
