Lions Club Birthday Raffle

Our Lions Club of N Canton members bring a small gift to raffle off, instead of getting a gift. We then donate money to a good cause. I previously bought a Lantern for myself, I also bought one for myself and one to auction for my Birthday, it was such a hit. I know of three members plus my neighbor went and bought one because they are pretty and priced right.

If you want to use this for appearance, it is a nice little touch. If you want to use it to light up, it didn’t work.

Fun Color

The first one I purchased did not work. So I had to drive all the way across town to get a replacement for it. It's really cheapy plastic, but I liked the color and wanted an 'inexpensive' solar lantern to hang in the garden and see from the window at night.

Great lanterns last year, but...

I bought several of these lanterns last year for our patio and they worked great!. For some reason, the two more I ordered this year are not as bright, the solar caps are loose, and the internal wires hang down where you can see them. I should have returned them right away, but didn’t. Maybe I just got a couple of defective ones. Next time I’ll buy them in-store so I can inspect them first.
