I needed something to keep the chill off my feet when I get out of bed. It's super soft texture, almost like velvet is nice on my feet!

We purchased this area rug to replace an old jute rug in our bedroom and we have been so pleased! This rug is so soft and smooth on our feet, and it isn't shaggy so it's easy to vacuum. It's almost like a velvet material, but doesn't hold onto or show debris like velvet. Our new dog has had a couple of accidents on it and the rug doesn't absorb any moisture...it just sits on top and makes it very easy to clean. The dark color is more of a deep green than black but I saw the rug in the store before I bought it and actually prefer the green hues. We haven't washed it yet so can't speak to how well it holds up. Due to the size we may need to find a commercial washing machine (we have the 8x10). It's very flexible and easy to put down. It is a great addition to our room. Highly recommend!
