Check It Out Before You Buy

Whenever you think the price is too good to be true, listen to your instincts. I ordered this item(s) online and went to the store to pick them up. At first glance the the stools looked ok, but upon closer inspection, I realized how flimsy the construction was. It would probably be ok for baby toys, but nothing else.

Good for storage, not good for lifting to dorm bed

I saw where so many parents were using ottomans for storage as well as to help lift kids into high dorm beds. I didn't want one of the foldable ottomans because I didn't think they would hold well. Saw this one in the store and felt it would be big enough for storage as well as sturdy enough for my daughter to use as a step stool to get in and out of her dorm bed like so many other ottomans. I couldn't decide on the color in store so I ended up ordering online later. Ottoman is soft. Storage area is sturdy and holds a lot. Unfortunately, after my slim daughter tried using it to get into her dorm bed just on move in day, the top collapsed and did not hold. I reached out to customer service and was told that neither a replacement nor a refund could be issued since the ottoman was not designed for that use. If you're planning to use this to lift your child into a dorm bed, I advise to search for something else. Storage wise and looks, this ottoman is good.
