So sad -- pilled & got rough after washing!
I am so sad!!! I fell in love with this beautiful color and had to have this blanket. I already have a Throw size in the green color, so I was thrilled to get this larger one.
But after washing to get the initial fuzz off, this blanket came out pilled all over and no longer soft. It looks and feels like a 20 year old blanket, and I only bought it last night -- haven't even used it yet. I washed it by itself in COLD water on delicate cycle, and dried it on low heat (since we live in an apartment and cannot line dry anything). I washed the green throw the same way and it came out fine.
Oh, I just can't express how sad I am that this blanket has done this. Maybe this one was just a dud...? I may try another one and see what happens. The color is SO beautiful -- much prettier than these photos show (it's much more of a soft lilac; the photos make it look rather grey, which it isn't).
