I purchased this lantern because I like the style of it. It reminds me if this time period were in which is the early to mid twenties. The style of the lantern reminds me of going outside and doing different activities outside. It is solar powered so it is usable outside. The style of the lantern reminds me of being around a lake or a cabin. I wanted to get this type of lantern a few years ago but didn't have the time. Collected as part of a promotion.
