Beautiful, but impractical
The bulb extends past the bottom of the shade and so the light is super intense and very concentrated. I was hoping to use them as bedside lamps, but it's just too bright for that. They were too pretty to return though, so I'm trying to figure out a better use for them, like an office or reading nook.

gets hot
I like the style, but it gets hot and hard to adjust light because of that, and also doesn't have a place to plug in phone? will probably be replacing these for something less hot and easier to move position when on for reading.

Perfect Little Lamp
This was a gift for my husband who was looking for a source of lighting as he reads in his recliner. He has a little table next to the recliner which is the perfect spot for the lamp. He loves the brass surface and the fact that he can adjust the lamp to shine stronger or less light depending on time of day, etc. The lamp has a good weight to it and seems sturdy, and it was a reasonable price.
