The curtains are truly 100% blackout. The only reason I took away one star is because they are such a stiff material that it causes 2 problems: first, when you slide them open, the stack is way too wide, especially at the bottom (sticks out like a puffy skirt on a dress). The second problem with the stiffness is that they don't hug the wall at the edges, so like leaks in on both sides, and the top and bottom. The color was nice, and like I said, the material truly keeps all the light out (so many brands do not)

I absolutely love these curtains. We had them in our home and the buyers wanted them. I was bummed to give them up. I was so happy when I found them again and was able to purchase another set. I love the color of these, they are great at blocking light, and do help regulate the temperature in the room where they have been used. If I had more windy, I'd buy more of these!
