works as expected!
I wanted additional light in our living room (after removing the Christmas tree, the lack of light was noticeable) and this works great. The light it gives off is a nice soft light. I haven't had any issues with it. It was easy to assemble and works as expected. It could be sturdier and taller, but at this pricepoint I understand. I think the shade should be a bit longer as you can see the bulb from across the room while sitting on the couch, but again, at this pricepoint, it makes sense.

I bought lamp to replace one in our living room. Took awhile to get the shade to sit straight, but finally got it. I would say for the price, it is certainly worth it. Easy to assemble, serves the purpose.
