We bought lamp for guest bedroom & it looks amazing. The plastic is around the inner shade but protected by the outer wire making extremely challenging to get off. Will need tweezers, time, & patience

Quality bad. Returned due to item being dirty and the seam of the fabric showed when lit. Shopped another store looked at 7 lamps everyone had issues.
