Literally black out curtains
The blackout curtain panels are on the outside of the curtains and the white material on the inside. The gray faux silk is really nice so I have kept them. The blackout panel should have been sewn on the inside and the white panel should be on the outside facing the window. Many places have by laws in which the curtains facing the windows need a white backdrop for uniformity in all houses. So now I will have to place white shears too...another expense.

Although I returned these curtains, the quality was very good, the color did not work for the room. I will go back and look at the other colors available when I have more time.
