The brush is really stiff, almost like trying to sweep the floor with a comb. The dust pan is nice looking with the bright color and the floor edge part is a nice soft rubber that lays flat against the floor. I chose this particular set because of the color, but I do wish there were other color choices. nothing I have in my home is this color I just didn't want a grey or white one.

Love how the brush attaches to the Dustpan!
It makes it so easy to attach both the brush & pan to my hook on the inside of the cabinet below my sink. The two are always together.
Also, there are small teeth on each side of the pan to clean the brush.
