I wanted a small unobtrusive side table lamp to provide a modest amount of light in our tv viewing room. This fit the bill. What I like about it is that it is "touch activated" and it has 3 different levels of brightness. My purchase was a lamp rated at 2700K warm white. However, when you buy this, test yours in an outlet usually accessible in the lamps aisle because I did so and found that there is also a 5000K "Daylight" version as well, which I did not like. Too "bluish" in output.
