Perfect Outdoor Addition

I bought one set of these skulls originally, but loved them so much I went back for a second to display them prominently at the front of our house. They’re the perfect addition to our outdoor decor and I love the spooky red eye lights at night. Bonus: they are battery operated with an easy on/off switch so I don’t have to worry about cords or hookups.

Cool, but a little glow-in-the-dark finish would've been much better...

We scooped the very last one of these on liquidation today. It looks REALLY COOL in the store, in full lighting, and it's got heft to it so it's not really as likely to be stolen by troublemakers as other expensive decorations might be subject to the danger of. Having the glowing red eyes, I figured it would look pretty neat to folks walking down the sidewalk at night, but when I tried it out, the glare from the red eyes, as well as the lack of any glow-in-the-dark finish (it's resin, so it's not like they could've put any lighting under the surface), makes anything other than the LEDs in each skull's eyes very hard to make out. See pictures. We got it on liquidation clearance, and it was only like $100, so I'm not feeling like we got ripped off, because this will probably last us the rest of our lives, but I don't think I'd have bought it knowing what I know now. Maybe I'll find some GITD finish somewhere and be able to make this look better in darkness. It's REALLY cool outside in daylight or inside as a piece of Halloween decoration, though. Just want to be helpful if someone is curious what it really looks like.
