Foundation review

We needed to replace our king bed foundation. The actual products, of two twin XL foundations, worked well. But, we didn't take into consideration the actual height. Added to the height of our bed big frame, and then the mattress as well. Many pieces of tallness, makes for a HIGH bed. Had to get a step stool, to get in/out of bed,. I feel like the story, the Princess and the pea! Disappointed. Even tho the bed foundations were wrapped in manufactured plastic wrap, totally tight. The foundations were non-returnable to the store, with not opening and with the sale receipt. We checked with management the day of purchase, before we bought. That would of been nice, to have return rights. We would of considered a shorter foundation, to accommodate the total bed height.
