Bulb showed through once on in evening
Returning! Was excited as neutral w/a little shine. Then we saw the ENTIRE light bulb showing!! Yuk.
Plus there's a shiny plastic-like layer "inside" the shade that stays (doesn't come off--is glued to it.) which concerned me too. What if the bulb is on a longtime? I think it could be a fire hazard. Made properly, it could be pretty.

Looking for a second one
This is well made and fashionable shade. I love the size as well as the subtle sheen in the fabric that makes it look elegant and not tacky. I paired it with a gold hammered table lamp and it looks like it came out of a designer magazine at 10 times the price. Now looking for a second one!
