Really is 50% better!
We've cooked with regular pyrex dishes for years. We tried out our new 9" x 13" x 3" Deep Baking Dish from Corelle Brands/Pyrex and the dish held a fantastic amount of food in it. We literally ate from this casserole all week! We only had to adjust our cooking time up a little bit for this recipe to compensate for the added food, the same quality glass is found here as our other pyrex dishes there is just a lot more with this dish. He held the heat very nicely and cooked the recipe (breakfast casserole)all the way through. This would make a fantastic gift for someone who enjoys cooking, for large families, or to host being meals. The lid fits nicely on the dish which is fantastic for leftovers. The dish also cleans up very well and is dishwasher safe! We are very impressed with our dish!

Super impressed!
This baking dish is a huge asset in my kitchen. I have casserole dishes but they are pretty standard and much more shallow than this one. The Pyrex deep baking dish is perfect for cooking meats that give off a lot of juices, like hams or large chickens (even a small turkey would do well in here). It's large enough that I can double some of my usual casserole or dressing recipes and they will still fit, so this is going to get a ton of holiday use. It's also the first baking dish I've owned that has a lid, which is great for covering cakes or dinner leftovers right in the dish, or storing baked goods like cookies or party mixes. It goes on very snugly, so I don't have to worry about refrigerator odors creeping in or baked goods going stale. Both the dish itself and the lid are of good quality, and I expect them to last many years. I've already used it for casseroles and most recently for transporting a large batch of potato salad at Easter. I got compliments on the pretty teal dish cover, and have recommended it to several family members. I'd definitely get it again!
