You have to be a fan of the brand.
My daughter loves them so I bought a few packets. Big mistake - and I love licorice. They are hard to chew and hard in general. They won't even soften if you hold them in your mouth a while. They are not sweet enough and have a funky taste. My son tried one, also. We both hated it and gave the bags of licorice away.
