Great sound.

The only challenge we had was getting all the edges to line up. It’s easier once they begin to fill with water because the weight holds them in place. The water makes just enough noise to be noticeable without being overwhelming.

Design Flaw

Purchased two of these fountain planters and experienced the same issues, the most persistent being the constant loss of water. I would have to fill up twice a day at minimum as the water kept disappearing. I would come out in the morning to the sound of the pump with no water in the base part. I couldn't put fish in the base, as the fountain couldn't be trusted to hold its water. The problem lay in the first tier lip, which my wife and I figured out and rectified with silicone. The first tier lip either needs a little dip at the edge, so the water actually jumps a bit, and not trickle down under the first tier lip, and through the space between the first and second tier. We also had to treat both fountains in order to weather proof, since the first one we had purchased didn't do well in our North East winter.

Cheaply made

It's cheaply made and doesn't fit together well. Oh and by the way, it is not safe for any animal to drink out of so hopefully you don't have dogs, cats, birds, or any other animals nearby!

Falling apart within days

Pieces started chipping off coming out of the box. Fountain assembly sits unbalanced on top of each other even after trying to level it even. Hose and pump cracked and leaked after 6 days running

Looks Nice but...

Unpacked and filled with water and leaking everywhere. Used silicone to fill a crack. Worked fine for a week and now all of the water has leaked out and can't find where it's leaking from. What a pain to box up and return.

Fish pond fountain

I returned the lip bowl planter when we saw the 3-tier fountain that would add the perfect amount of 'stature' to our backyard cattle trough that we've made into a fish pond with fountain to feed deer and other wild animals here.
