Unfortunately, this is not the best hanger for a lot of pants. It immediately began to sag under the weight, and I had concerns the hook part might give way. I do like the no slip velvet, though, so I'm using it to store lighter weight table runners and placemats instead. It's PERFECT for that! So, no for pants but a definite yes for table runners, placemats, linen napkins, etc. The 2-star rating I've given applies to its use for pants. For table linens, though, I'd give it 5.

You can't use it in a double rod closet as the pants will hang to low. It really does add room by putting 5 pair of pants in the spare of 2
