Not at all Ivory
It is more of a natural tan color in person. The rug is not soft for a bedroom but pit is pretty for other areas.

The rug is much light color in my living room than it showed in the store but it adds charm to my room.
My only dismay is that the weave is easily snagged by our cats' claws and I would have returned it had he not already snagged it overnight.
