This brand's outside isn't as attractive or perfect as glazed ceramic, but is quite acceptable, especially since I needed black and larger hinged canisters in black are VERY hard to find! I'm very happy and not fussy about the lettering. (also not perfect).

This canister is just what I wanted for my coffee. I have been looking for months for a stoneware canister with a hinged sealed lid and thought I was going to have to settle for metal or something else. I am glad I waited because At Home came thru and it cost less than the ones that I didn't want. This one has a good seal and is large enough to hold my coffee and still fit on my counter with my coffee pot. Yes, I made a great buy!
