It is more of a brushed gold than gold which is exactly what I was looking for. It's painted and not actual brushed brass so color will likely chip over time but it's nice for those looking for an inexpensive option. Not super heavy but significant enough for a couple small towels.

Collected as part of a promotion. It is almost exactly what I was looking for!! I should have measured the length of my hand towels because they are a tad too long for the stand. Fingertip towels work but full length hand towels are a tad long. Such a great price that I don't mind a little drapery on the countertop.
