The only way to open this frame is to pop the glass out, the frame does not open. They use an extremely sticky glue to put a picture inbetween the glass sheets, it's difficult to remove, especially while trying not to break the glass. I ended up slicing my finger open trying to clean the residue, and then the corner of the glass cracked. Extremely difficult product to use and not worth the hassle

I have tried this frame more than once thinking maybe the broken corners when opened was a fluke...nope, not a fluke...tried a 3rd time 6 months after the first two thinking they may have fixed the problem... nope, still busted corner upon opening. Don't do it!

This is one of my more favorite At Home purchases. Framing pictures or having them framed has become (like everything else) ridiculously expensive. With these frames, you simply take them apart, center your picture on the glass, and reassemble them. * Note: I would recommend cleaning the glass when you're done. And be aware that unless your picture covers the entire glass, the wall will show. Ours is grey and actually looks nice.
