I bought this cooling gel pad for a family member to use after minor surgery. It froze quickly ,allowing for re-use and stayed flexible, making it more comfortable to use on an incision . It has a soft fabric cover on one side , which is a nice barrier to the skin. It is a good product at a reasonable price.
