These are great containers. I use them to store, dog treats, and cat treats him but I have use them to store chocolate chips, and different types of nuts.

Seems to be very airtight as advertised. I kept in an ice chest which had eventually melted ice and I found out too late, but no water had gotten into the closed container. So far based on this experience I would recommend.
