Purchased base to hold 9' umbrella and placed under table for better stability. Held up umbrella without too much movement, but can't use it as stand alone since not heavy enough.
Ok ..not perfect. Shape is good.
I'm using to shade plants so it's free standing. The plastic that holds the pole in place is NOT deep enough and pops out a lot, especially during windy periods.
