Blackout drapes?
nice drapes, but NOT blackout as the package indicates

The packaging said blackout, they are light filtering.
I wanted blackout shades for a bedroom. Once we got them hung we realized the package label is wrong. These are light filtering, and barely that.

Not Blackout Curtains
The fabric is slightly shiny, which is not what I wanted for a casual look. And, by even the biggest stretch of the imagination, these curtains DO NOT BLACK OUT LIGHT.

Pretty but not 100% blackout
They do work great at night, but as soon as the sun starts to rise the room is lit up about 20%. I am a very light sleeper so this is a problem. They are beautiful and makes my bedroom look so fresh and clean

Recommend!!
purchased these drapes for the extra bedroom which gets sun all afternoon. I assumed they were 100 percent black-out but they
appear to be approx. 80 percent block out which still works out
fine. I also have a black out shade. It has really helped in keeping the room a little less hot in during this extremely warm summer.
