Love tfal BUT….

My husband bought me the set just like this, within 6 months all the handles started loosening, I have to tighten them constantly. And then my 12in pans non-stick peeled so bad that it is now useless. I know others that have the same set and are having the same issue. So disappointed. I havent used the pan in over a year, it just sits in my cabinet.

Read Product Description Carefully

I just got a new Initiatives Non-stick 18 Pc. Cookware Set (Black. The set seems nice so far, but when you're shopping online be sure to read the product information carefully. Don't just search by the name "T-Fal Initiatives Non-stick 18 Pc. Cookware Set". The T-Fal site shows this set with a griddle. The T-Fal set I received by the EXACT same product name has a set of measure spoons and a set measuring cups but does NOT include a griddle as shown here on the T-Fal site. Upon closer inspection, the product number for the set on the T-Fal site [B167SI64] is one digit off from set on the vendor's site [B167SI04]. Read the vendor's site carefully or you may be disappointed too. I dont blame the vendor. I rushed through the purchase based on the product name and now I'm stuck with the added expense of buying a single piece separately.

Handles too long

I've had this set for a little over 2 years. I LOVE the T-Fal brand, but the handles on the pots are way too long for my gas stove top. The length makes them too heavy on the handle side and they wan to tip. I've only used non-metal utensils in them and the coating is starting to wear away. Also, the seams on the lids aren't tight to the glass. The liquid will boil out of the pain through the lid! A bit disappointed.
