this stand works perfectly for my large potted plant. it is sturdy enough to take the weight of a 12" terra cotta pot and saucer filled with soil and plant, and it is the correct height to allow me to set it front of the window for good light exposure.

Sturdy, Attractive Porch Stand
I purchased this stand to hold a candle lantern on my covered front porch. It's just the right height and seems sturdy, although I would not want the top directly exposed to rain because the wood could deteriorate.

Perfect for my plants
