I was a bit concerned because cloth is what I am used to using, but have received so many compliments on these! The soft shimmer gives a gorgeous, subtle glow that makes the table look just a bit more decorative but doesn't look garish. They protect the table very, very well from moisture and hot plates. I actually bought two different colors that work together to make my table look very nice. And they clean up quickly and easily! Very happy with this find!
